This film could be an interesting drama that some are calling the Boys Don’t Cry German version as deals with a woman with boyish looks and build and a girlfriend that does not know “he” is a she.

Melanie is a young woman with boyish looks and build, whose short hair and baggy clothes hide her femininity. She has a humdrum job, preparing airline food for a nearby airport, and has big plans to escape with her brother Knut and see the world.
